This exciting opportunity exclusive to the Peninsula Waves Pathway Program is a 2 night, 3 day camp aimed at 10-13 year olds in Frankston District and the Mornington Peninsula to to provide participants with fun and exciting activities camp activities including basic leadership skills as well as netball skill development and high-performance sessions around nutrition, wellbeing, goal setting and fitness to prepare athletes to progress through the netball pathway.
Target Group: 10-13-year-old Club Netball players from Nepean, MPNA or FDNA (Born in 2006, 2007 or 2008) but MUST have turned 11 by July 1st 2019.
Format: Two-night, Three-day camp
Aims: The camp aims to provide participants with fun and exciting activities
including basic leadership skills as well as netball skill development and high-performance sessions around nutrition, wellbeing, goal setting and fitness to prepare athletes to progress through the netball pathway. It also aims to facilitate the establishment of lifelong friendships and networking across netball clubs.
Date: Monday, 1st July 2019 (approx. arrival at camp by 8.30am) until Wednesday, 3rd July 2019 (approx. departure by 11am)
Location: Camp Manyung, Sunnyside Road, Mt Eliza, 3930

APPLICATIONS WILL OPEN IN APRIL 2019 AND CLOSE MAY 29th 2019
Cost will be $375.00 per participant (including GST) including 2 nights’ accommodation, all Camp activities, coaching and goal setting education sessions, a High-Performance Camp Hoody, and all meals and snacks.
Participants will be required to pay a deposit of $100 to secure their spot at camp with final payments required in June.
We will be capping numbers, so book in now to avoid disappointment.

The 13/U Development Camp Objectives are:
•Develop Friendships and Network with netballers from across the region •Develop Confidence, Communication and People Skills
•Exposure to Team Building Initiatives
•Exposure to basic Leadership skills
•Receive Elite Coaching from Jess Whitfort and her team of camp leaders including a goaling session with Melbourne Vixen Mwai Kumwenda, hear about Australian Netballer Julie Corletto’s netball pathway journey, and inspirational chat with Paralympian Swimmer and OAM Recipient Matt Haanapell.
(Please be aware that a minimum of 30 participants are required for this camp to run.)
Camp Leader Applications
Expressions of Interest are open to becoming a Camp Leader for 2019. Leaders must be 18 years +.

Camp Leaders will receive an honorarium payment of $200 with full camp costs and uniform provided.
